Ok, so I saw the famous video of the guy just spraying his car with foam and then rinsing it to leave a great shine. I purchased this to pair with my Karcher 1500 psi electric pressure washer to see if it was true. Lets just say it didn’t work that way. I was able to get a nice layer of foam that stayed on the car to help when washing, even though it states you must have at least 2000 psi to work properly. I found I still had to respray the next panel before hand washing with a mitt. I used the Meguiar’s wash and wax soap (thick yellow stuff) and found it didn’t leave that just waxed shine like when I hand wash it. Maybe a different soap is needed, but I like this soap. Maybe a different ratio of soap to water, not sure. It should help for people who wash multiple cars at the same time and who has someone to help them (one can spray and rinse while the other hand washes). It’s also a pain to have to get all the cords/hoses out and hooked up to the pressure washer, then unhook them all to rinse, etc. when the foam cannon is only needed for about 3 mins for a single vehicle.
For me, it’s just easier to hand wash my cars and trucks one at a time.

You are missing the fun of washing a car if you are not using a foam cannon. Using a foam cannon is not only fun, it is also faster, and does an excellent job of getting your car(s) clean with the least amount of effort. This is important if you wash your car in a clement that is hot and humid, were excursion maybe an issue. Here, using a foam cannon has additional benefits. For a moderately dirty car, the action of the foam will allow dirt to drop off the car without you having to touch the car with a wash mitt. For heavier dirt and grime, you may have to lightly use a wash mitt. So, let the soap do its work and don’t rinse it off right away as you would using the standard method for washing your car. Additionally, using a foam cannon, I can wash three cars with light dirt within 30 minutes, with minimal effort. That is a major benefit for me. This way, I can give more TLC to my weekend toy, my Corvette. And yes, the Vette gets the foam cannon we well. Two things are required to use a foam cannon; A power washer, and proper car wash soap. About soap. Be sure to buy car wash soap designed for use with foam cannons. Otherwise, you will not get the foaming action needed for good cleaning. As me how I know this.

I used this on a karcher K2 1600psi 1.25gpm universal pressure washer. I bought this little gem to maintain the cleanliness of my car after getting it ceramic coated. I was looking at the more expensive name brand models that go for $100+ and just couldn’t justify paying that price when the cheaper ones look exactly the same. I decided to get this one and I am glad I did. First time I used it I tested it out on my wife’s SUV because she is the guinea pig for everything I want to do to see what happens. I mixed 3oz of McKees Sio2 soap and filled the rest of the bottle with warm water almost to the top. I had nice thick foam and this was with the flow adjustment turned all the way down! I am very impressed with this foam cannon and would not hesistate to recommend it to anyone with a karcher pressure washer looking for a cheap foam cannon that actually works and creates nice thick suds. Check out the pictures I posted.

High-pressure power washers have lots of options for a “foam lance,” but Karcher electrics, with a proprietary connector, offer much more limited options. This is one. It isn’t as easy to attach as a genuine Karcher accessory.
The way these work is that pressurized water draws soap from the reservoir, mixes it with air, and blasts it on your car (boat, spouse, whatever). And this will blast out the suds, no question about it. Wash your car, then hose it off with the standard pressure washer handle.
It can help to remember that pressure washing your vehicle uses much less water than a hose or hose-end sprayer. A hose used about 10-15 gallons per minute; a pressure washer used about 2-3. You can cover your car in suds in well under a minute with this, and rinse it completely in two minutes, tops. So it’s a good way to save water.
You can also use whatever soap you want, whether it’s one that’s gentle on surface coatings (I like Chemical Guys stuff) or one that takes everything off (Dawn liquid is often used). This makes the accessory more versatile than many.

Worked pretty well a couple of times, then halfway through the third wash the fitting came apart where it connects to the pressure washer.
I was able to reassemble, but the connector now blows a lot of water past it and not much through the cannon. It’s a shame there’s no parts available.

I gave up the multiple bucket system after watching YouTube especially Dallas Paint Correction. Just bought more microfiber mitts. Perfect fit on my K4 washer bought for light duty use. Using Chemical Guys Maxi Suds it produces a lot of foam and 2 to 4 ounces is enough to wash a decent sized SUV – I’ve seen some soap that produces more foam but this only cost me $17 for a gallon. Playing with the controls let’s you select how much foam is produced. No leaks or anything and connection on karcher hose is solid . My only minor complaint is I wished it had markings on the bottle but I just added a couple of my own to ease guessing quantity but now I just eyeball it as I’ve used it a few times

I like it, but I don’t love it yet.
My only complaint is the foam produced. While it covers great, it is not as thick as I had hoped for. I’d really like to get this dial in somehow to put out something a little closer to shaving cream. As it is, the foam is a little too wet and will tend to slough off before I can work my way down one side of the car.
My current solution is to spray a portion of the car, then respray as needed to keep the panels coated and wet until I can get to them. I also found that trying to spray only one side at a time makes the process a little easier.
The end results are great though. The car is much cleaner with this foam shooter than what I would usually get out of a bucket or two of water.
Also, I had a little foam left at the end of washing the car, so I foamed and washed several other items. My aluminum trailer looks brand new, and I have the cleanest trash cans on the block. I wish I could think of a good way to use this inside on the fireplace!

I hooked it up to a 1300! GPM electric power washer and it worked great. Easy adjustments for flow rate and spray pattern, took about 5 seconds to get it where I wanted it. Non need to hook up to my gas power washer. Let the foam sit for a few minutes then quick wipe and rinse and then you are done.
