So do not get my title confused thinking you will get the performance compared to a large $300+ pressure washer. I have a large gas pressure washer and it rocks! But I didn’t want to pull that out just to wash the car so I got this. Very easy to use and has more power than I expected to get grime and brake dust off of the wheels. nice for the small jobs and a couple of nozzles that it came with made it handy from the get-go. I do wish the hose wasn’t so stiff and that the garden hose adapter was built in or had a holder for storage but that are very minor issues.

It’s easy to take anywhere you need it and use for a variety of cleaning projects around the house. After using for several tasks around my home, I’m wishing I had bough one sooner. I like the long cord rather than a longer pressure hose to get it where you need to use it. It’s best to use this type of equipment without an extension cord if possible. The unit is light enough it’s easy to take it anywhere. It did a great job cleaning up a porch deck and removing stains, mold and mildew before repainting, hopefully that will help the repaint job to last longer having the surface better prepared. (I hate painting anything!) I have since used it to remove some troublesome moss that grows on the sidewalk path on the north side of my home as well as moss growing on a retaining wall. it made those areas of the retaining wall look so much better I ended up cleaning the whole thing, It made fairly short work of it and did great job. Same story with the side walk, it cleaned it so well I ended up needing to clean the whole length. I was little surprised the amount of discoloration but the pressure washer made it an easy project to clean it all off. I also like the idea it seems to reduce water usage over my previous attempts to wash these areas with a garden hose, much less water running down the driveway or onto the lawn etc.
I also bought the foam wand to use soap and cleaning solutions and is really a must have for the home owner to better utilize having a pressure washer. I tried using it to wash my truck while I was at it and it did a good job of that also and used much less water.
Karcher makes professional, heavy duty cleaning equipment, and is well respected in the industry. In the end after looking at several I purchased Karcher for that reason. I also know that parts and service support will be available for the unit in the long term direct from the manufacturer. While this unit is intended for the homeowner/consumer I expect it carries the reputation of all Karcher’s products; tough, built to last and do a good job. At under $150 every home owner should have one.

This is a great power washer that helped me clean a wooden deck, white siding and many other small things that needed thorough cleaning. Definitely worth the money and you can’t go wrong with a machine made by the Germans.

This is my first time owning a pressure washer. I exclusively use it to wash my car. The machine gets the job done but is “finicky” and annoying. I do sometimes wash my car wishing I had bought a different pressure washer. It is small and compact easy to move with good add-ons, but the plastic toy feeling of the product leaves much to be desired.

My review of this machine is based on my experience with a previous model- a 1400psi entry model.
I’ve had my older machine for 20 years or more and it still works but not as well as it should and I needed another one for work so I purchased this one only to find that it is a huge disappointment. This machine is made in China and my older model is made in Germany for half the price. German engineering is irrelevant if they are going to sell out to cheap unnecessary parts/adapters.
First of all the (quick) fittings are horrible, cheap plastic that I can promise will not last very long. No surprise there given how everything is built to fail. It took both my husband and I and two heavy duty wrenches to screw the quick connect adapter onto the hose and it STILL sprays/leaks water everywhere. It took us 20 minutes and that is after I tried for an hour yesterday. Really! My older machine didn’t come with quick connectors and it was so easy to screw on the hose and screw on the sprayer hose in less than 30 seconds ( on and off). But now you must use their cheap quick connect adapters that are not optional. Only a bored idiot would have come up with that idea and make it a requirement. Additionally, I can’t get the adapter off the hose so that I can attach another hand sprayer or other attachment for cleaner to spray everything down first and then power wash. I’ve tried 3 different styles of garden hoses and none work with this adapter. Who has a dedicated garden hose for their power washer? I’m now going to have to buy another hose to use in my garden because I can’t remove the adapter from the hose without smashing it to bits and possibly bending the fitting on my hose. BTW, my hose is expensive and I’m not about to destroy it. Read the review in Spanish- that buyer had the same issues. This is the most retarded engineering for a power washer.
My older machine had a plastic tube that you could attach and place in a bucket of cleaner or bleach and it would siphon the cleaner so that you could apply with spray. This machine requires you purchase an additional part. Of course they would and I can only imagine how cumbersome and difficult that would be to attach.
I’m so thoroughly fed up and disgusted with companies like Karcher that now focus only on how to increase profits with poor manufacturing practices. The days of taking pride in one’s product – a built to last product- are long gone.
