The ONLY reason I’m not rating this higher is because of how quickly my kids destroyed them. Still not sure how it happened but this is simply just a heads up warning for fellow parents of very….feral children.
I was so excited to gift my 1yr old twins these since they enjoy doodling (on our walls & every other dang surface) Granted, my kids manage to break almost every thing BUT I was not expecting to find one of my twins covered in blue dye within a day of using this doodle pad. There was a tiny slit which made it leak. Everywhere. I’m not sure if one of them tried biting it? Took the edge of a toy to “draw” and it caused a rip or it honestly could have been one of their razor sharp blade of a finger nail! No clue! Just make sure your kids nails are trimmed and nicely filed prior to using the blue side 😂 other than that this things cool!

Bought this for a curious 10 month old just for the finger “painting” side not the crayons. Took a few weeks of it throw in the toy bin and me using it when she interacted with it before she got the hang of it. It takes a lot of pressure for a little one, but she uses her whole hand and finally gets some coloring action. Big fan once she could do it herself!

A great plus when wanting to save paper but when you press your finger in the mess free paint side, nothing you draw is distinguishable which is dissapointing as my child gets quickly bored of it if we do not bring crayons with us on the go. I recommend purchasing a different Crayola product where your art work actually appears.
