Purchased this primarily for the mermaid figurine and when my daughter opened it on Christmas morning, she was not in the set.

I like that the mermaid and fairy attach to their horses. The little girl receiving the gift loved it. They seem durable but only time will tell. Definitely smaller than I expected.

I purchased several of these for my granddaughters for Xmas & they absolutely love them. In fact so do their brothers. Lol. Be aware that there are tiny magnets in them so that you can perch the ppl onto the animals & keep them there. I almost didn’t buy them bc of that given all the news stories about kids and magnets, but the magnets are INSIDE the toys. So as long as ur kids aren’t eating their toys you should be okay, but be careful around your pets so that the pets don’t try to eat them. My grandkids adore all things Schleich as do I bc I bought it for their parents too decades ago. Schleich is well made & lasts forever.

My son and his wife said that this Schleich Bayala underwater fantasy set was the PRETTIEST set of toys their newly adopted daughter had ever received. They were worried that I would be upset if the toys were played with very hard.
I said, ” Have FUN, PLAY with them, that is what will make me happy~
I purchased them because Schleich reviews always said they were the best!
My new granddaughter was delighted to receive them for Christmas.

Great value set, I was curious how the riders stay on the horses and the mermaid figure actually has a magnet inside (not visible) the fairy rider has a sash that hangs down over the back side so she kind of clips on. Very beautifully decorated figures, great quality. Probably not great for very young children who may put toys in their mouth, there is glitter on the figures. Perfect for my 5 year old and 9 year old!
