It’s great for protecting your spine and posture. I use it everyday now. However, if you’re tall (5’8/9 and up) you may need to add a book underneath. My chiropractor and PT both it, and I use it either in combination with my standing desk or with a book underneath.

This laptop stand is extremely sturdy, will not slide and it firmly holds my 14″ laptop in place.
Very well made with slick and elegant design.
The only small downside and certainly not a deal breaker for me, is the angle of the lip or a hook that holds the laptop in place. With it’s present angle, I can’t easily close my laptop as the hook prevents the laptop lid from closing, thus I need to lift the laptop up and close the lid. Pushing the angle of that hook forward by 15 – 20 degrees would resolve this issue.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this stand and give it a well deserved 5-star review.

If you have a laptop hooked up to another monitor, this is a great option to have them at the same height. I wouldn’t work from home without it.

Tested it with both, a 15.4” MacBook Pro as well as MSI GL65.
Works better than imagined with older heavier notebooks and modern day gaming rigs.
I love the fact that the structure of the stand is a bit on the thicker side, as that allows it to conduct heat away from the hot bottom in a bit more efficient manner in my humble opinion.
The product arrived fast, was very well packed.
Please note that the stand is extremely sturdy.
Bending it under an angle and opening or closing it requires physical force.
I just use my knee in addition to both hands to get it done 🙂
Wouldn’t be the first choice for someone who has extremely weak muscular strength though.
Overall great product, Perfect and impeccable design.
Strongly recommend and I myself will order at least two extra some time in the near future 🙂

I wanted to buy something that was highly rated but less than Obvus laptop holder!! At about $49, this is not great! It’s lower than I like, and when I changed to my heavier old HP laptop, it was about to topple over!! The worst part is that I can’t close my laptop easily due to its front design (meant to prevent laptop from sliding down) – so I have to lift up laptop each night to close it shut – VERY ANNOYING!!! I would not recommend it.

If I spent more on this, I would have given it fewer stars, but some of this is “You get what you pay for.”
The pros – It looks very sleek, small footprint on desk, the joints are all nice and stiff and feel like they’ll stay in place. I admittedly have not used it for more than a couple of days so I don’t know how quickly they’ll wear down.
Size is probably suitable for most. I have a 15 inch Dell Inspiron 7000 and it’s just on the verge of being a little too big for this stand. There are placements I can’t use without it wanting to tip over backwards. But overall, it works for my needs.
The downside is that connection where the plate your laptop sits on connects to the vertical portion of the base is really loose. I don’t know if that’s part of the design or if mine is just defective. But either way it gives it a cheap feel and makes me question whether or not it will hold up. Just barely bumping my desk causes that top portion of the stand (with my laptop on it) to kind of wobble back and forth and that’s an unsettling feeling. If this was a piece that rotated so you could adjust the position, I would understand. But it doesn’t rotate. It’s just loose and wobbly. Everything else on the stand feels tight and well made. I looked over the area where it is loose to see if there was a screw or something that I could tighten, but if there is a screw, it’s under a little rubberized pad that glues down so I don’t want to tear that off (especially since I’m not 100% sure there is a screw under there).

You could hold up a small car on this thing! It is solid, heavy metal, I don’t know what kind, but it feels heavy. The machining is perfect and well thought out. All of its edges are smooth and finished. Rubber/plastic where the computer will rest. Its height can be adjusted. It is well vented under the laptop. It looks stylish on my desk. I can’t believe how well thought out this is. Even the box it came in is well designed. I can’t say enough about the box! Solid, simple. Lift up the first lid and there is another panel underneath with a QR code to scan, then lift that panel and there is the device with white, solid foam protection around it tightly. You could drop this out of an airplane and not damage it. I kept the box! I will use it to protect something! Too nice to get rid of. I want to ship it back so they can use it again. I don’t want to through it away! This device shows what can be done with a simple thing to make it beautiful, strong, simple and package it in a way that shows how much you care about the product you created! There is not enough of that motivation in the world today. Don’t even ask what I think of bicycle manufacturing. If only bikes were made like this thing. The price of this is great too! I would have paid double.
