Disclaimer- my kids don’t know how to play so I can’t speak to the usefulness of these cards, but there was a nice variety. A few duplicates but we bought to trade so no harm there. We got two pikachus and many trainers and items that we don’t have in any of our cards so overall very pleased. Will order more!

My kids just recently got into Pokemon and were super excited about this gift. They loved this pack of cards because there was a lot of variety, and the cards were good quality. I loved the cards because they were a great price, and they made my kids happy. It was win-win for everyone.

I thought I was ordering new pokeman cards but they came in a white package where they have been repacked. Are these cards being picked through then repackaged? Got them for a gift so wont know it they were worth what I paid for them until xmas

I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 here because the list price of $20 is pretty steep, the set isn’t completely free of duplicates (though they’re very minimal), and I (being an idiot) thought the listing was trying to say that these would come in foil packages (which they don’t) — at least 5 of the cards you get will be of the foil card variety.
Beyond those pretty minor grievances, this wound up being much more than I was expecting. The seller clearly puts a lot of energy into ensuring there’s order here, in spite of the randomized nature of the set. Example? My set has 3 rarities, more than 5 foils, multiple trainers, multiple items, multiple energies, etc.; all with nearly no duplicates. And, though the cards aren’t brand new, they are almost universally in mint condition. Plus, there was genuinely more than 50 cards here (I counted 53), and a handful of familiar Pokemon faces in the deck.
While you might not end up with a Pikachu or Charizard, this is a solid investment; especially if (like me) you’re seeing the set on sale for 50+ percent off. So I’d recommend this to most shoppers who know what minor faults to expect. And I intend to return to this listing the next time my kid is looking for some new cards.

I bought these so I could paint them so I didn’t care what I got. Turns out I got some REALLY cool ones. I’m going to paint some for practice. I’m not going to paint others. If you just want a bunch of cards this is perfect for the money. The only down side that someone else might have is there are no energies or items in this deck it’s all pokemon.

It advertises “50+” and I got 51 cards which is accurate but skeazy. No rare cards. No ultra rare. And 3 foils. Fine but not as advertised.
