I nearly returned this wand until I realized I could saw off about 1/4 inch of the wand holder to allow the wand to be locked in place. It looks like it is an upgrade from my original wand, which had a plastic turbo ball in the end. This one appears to be metal. I’ll see how long it lasts. Works great right now.

This wand with its spinning nozzle works about 50% better then the standard type wand so there you have 5 stars. However… the spinning piece inside the tip that makes it a "turbo" also fails fairly quickly, I got about one season out of mine and it seems this is a fairly common issue. I read some online comments about using a wire of drill bit to clean out the tip, and I was able to get mine working again, but it was intermittent and never worked nearly as well. So in that regard I’d give it one star for not being very durable.

This is a review of the Karcher Dirtblaster Spray Wand for Karcher Electric Power Pressure Washers

Good replacement wand for my old electric Karcher turbo nozzle wand that stopped working recently. The included adapters allow this wand to fit more than one type of handle and the instructions are clear. Works great!

Bought this to blast old, peeling/chipping paint and old vine tendrils off of a stucco carriage house, and it worked really well connected to my older Karcher 9hp gas power washer. Makes a colossal mess, as you would expect, but got the job done super fast. Even old paint that look pretty solid blew right off. Great for the wood trim too (just keep moving so you don’t fray or splinter the wood) and even window sashes (didn’t break one pane of glass). Cannot imagine having to have done all that with wire brushes or scrapers. "Accidentally" cleaned the adjacent sidewalk; did a nice job there too.

Not sure about long-term durability: used it on this one 14′ square, 2-story building and it was working as well at the end as the beginning.

Perfect fit and does the job.

I borrowed my dad’s older Karcher electric pressure washer to clean some things around my yard. I noticed that the sprayer no longer was working properly. This was not due to the product design but rather years of use and severe denting on the tip. I was hesitant to purchase this as other reviewers said it did not have the same pressure as their original dirt blaster sprayer. However, I would say that it does work great as a replacement to the original. This is well worth the price if you are having trouble with your original sprayer. It brings the machine back to life.

I picked this up as a spare as there was a rumor they were going to discontinue this attachment. Don’t know if it is true, but I have it in case. The adjustable spray head is great for surfaces that cannot take the added pressure, but living in the south we can get mildew quickly on sidewalks, stone, etc. So this head is necessary for the mildew on surfaces that can take the incredible power this cleaning attachment puts out. A must have for certain surfaces. We are talking clean, clean with just 1 wash! WARNING: not for many surfaces, check your owners manual before using.

My original froze and quite working like many other folks have reported. After reading the reviews, I ordered it. I borrowed my dad’s blaster wand to compare it to this one. The new one is very similar to the original. The spray head is slightly larger but cleans with the same effectiveness.

I believe the inside metal washer rusts and freezes. So after each use, I blow out the remaining water in the wand and squeeze a few sprays of CRC or WD40 down the tube. This seems to help the wand last longer.
