he main reason that I like this game is the same reason that I love Leap Frog products. It a fantastic way for kids to play while at the same time making learning fun. So many times, learning is made to feel boring and tedious but by integrating it into games kids are shown that learning can be fun and rewarding. Video games can teach children something as well as being fun to play. As for the hardware it is easy to get set up. Just like a firestick it just plugs into your HDMI port on the TV. There’s an included power cable that can be plugged into the USB-A port on your TV. After that, just insert 2 batteries into the controller, set your TV to the correct “source” and they are ready to play. The game is age appropriate for a 4 year old but would be less challenging for 6 year old’s and higher. That said, it’s still a great way to improve and sharpen skills if they can stay interested in the game. There are 8 different games that teach kids counting, number sequences, matching, sorting & classifying, phonemic awareness and rhyming. Also, using the controller to play the game helps kids sharpen their hand-eye coordination. The game speaks directions so that young children can understand without having to read. This game is such a fun way to prepare kids for school and, as I said before, even help sharpen already learned skills. I want to consider the price point high for what it is because the controller isn’t what I would consider high quality but, in the end, for me, it’s what the kids get out of it and for that it’s invaluable. Also, I’m not saying there is anything wrong with the controller exactly just a lower end plastic with stickers that probably won’t last long. I’m still highly recommending this game for the value of what the kids get out of it. It’s a fantastic start to a child’s education.

Our 3YR old loved this fun game!
It was quick to install and use right away via USB and HDMI on the TV. It’s lower resolution, but that is no big deal.
I only knocked off 1 star because the controls are a bit odd. Even for a child it was hard at first to grasp the different controls that were setup. Other then that, it is very fun and easy to use. It will grab attention and be something fun for the kids to pass time with (and learn at the same time)!

My four year old granddaughter is enjoying the different challenges she has to face on the Pepper Pig Leap Frog game. It teaches hand eye coordination phonics, letter and letter sounds, spatial awareness, visual perception, etc. It is definitely a fun learning tool for beginner learners.

My 3.5 year old granddaughter absolutely loves this. She can’t wait for daddy to get home so they can “game” together.

We are a video game family. Our 6 year old is able to beat several Nintendo switch games and even our 4 year old can play some Mario games. My 2 year old is obsessed with Peppa so I decided to give this a try to introduce her to video games. Of course my other two kids want to play it too. It’s really easy to set up and just needs 2 AA batteries. It looks decent on our tv and it speaks the instructions to you so no need for reading. When you play you can select one of 3 levels to make it easier or harder. I found it was definitely too easy for my 6 year old and a bit beyond my 2 year old. She has trouble associating the d pad with the screen. I’d say it’s a pretty good level for my 4 year old to play as he was able to do it but it was a little bit of a challenge on some of the games. Some of the games are a bit more complex and some really simple but it’s nice how it’s set up in going through a day. My only complaint is that the d pad doesn’t seem to be very sensitive. Sometimes it wouldn’t register presses and other times it would go a different direction. It’s not a huge deal for the included games though. It’s a bit pricey for what it is in my opinion because we could almost just buy a switch game for the same price but overall it’s a novel toy and my kids seem to like it.

My five year old has been curious about playing video games on the tv after watching other people play, this was a nice way to let her play a game on the tv while it was also a learning game.

What a fun idea and game. The games are challenging enough to not make preschoolers bored but they are still do-able.

The game arrived and it was used. We paid full price and was used. Didn’t include the cable, we have to purchase a generic cable. Didn’t returned because it’s a present for my baby granddaughter.
