I have been collecting McFarlane figures since 1997 and I love this Medieval Spawn so much that I had to buy a second one. But it’s far from perfect: it needs metal chains, better paint applications, fur (as in Series 22) and a diorama base. I would pay up to 100 USD for that.

McFarlane definitely deserve his praise I have seen so many videos on this guy YouTube Facebook only thing that this guy lacks in his paint on some of his area mainly his boot brace shoulders spikes skull belt line but if you know how to customize it’s a easy fix his weapons are awesome to which I also customize Spawn really is going med evil cape is soft rubber the red really shines making him stand out detailed head to toe I don’t follow any thing with this guy I know who he is but he’s very sharp dressed to impress making my figures stand out with him in the front line my army of all star figures well mostly DC and mortal combat some marvel which I don’t care who’s who I look at whos cool if your screaming dark scary I’m gonna kill everything then I’m getting you look which this guy does I want more Spawn figures different ones spider king I want next there’s to many I want I’m so behind but this guy I had to get right away if that tells you how impressive he is keep that in mind ,,, I usually wait awhile for the sell but him nope I got to he’s a must get ten years from now he will be someone that will be costly you know the value will go up I promise you that well maybe not mine as I customize him already I would have to buy another one keep in his box …..

An amazing looking figure of a great take on the Spawn character. His only issues are lacking articulation to hold his sword with two hands and the armor pieces being grey rather than silver as they should be. He’s mostly fantastic but those two issues bug me. For $30 it’s not worth it but waiting for a sale preferably below $25 is very fair for him

The only downside this figure has is the very vanilla paint apps. They do not do the figure justice. It has lots of details texture wise but in order for your to see them, they must be highlighted with a custom paint job.
The weapons that come with the figure are pretty sweet as well. Again, a better paint app would make this figure stand out amongst the crowd.
The points of articulation are good. If you are like me and do toy photography, then what you have to work with will suffice.
A pretty awesome Medieval Spawn action figure that just needs an updated paint job. Also Todd McFarlane, stay making light up eyes on your figures again. Take note from my LED mod 😉

I own Medieval Spawn 3 from the old 90’s wave, and that rendition is still my favorite but this one is far superior in several aspects such as articulation (obviously) sculpting, and accessories. This is a must in your collection!
Kickstarter Medieval Spawn just got leaked and while it looks great, this version you have here will not disappoint at all. Just customize it a bit with some red paint and wash, throw in a shield, and get a horse and you’ll have the ultimate figure.
